Last night, a few painstaking hours past bedtime, the creative team of moxie (of we are all angry fame), Paul, and generalspecific, a.k.a. the Association of Animations, choreographed a full 20 seconds of puppet madness in Felt-O-Mation.
There is no better documentary to watch during election season than Joseph Bronowski’s The Ascent of Man.
I will admit that he talks at a snail’s pace. Do not begrudge him this, he will get to the point. If you think Barak Obama is inspiring, just wait until you hear Bronowski talk about the significance of Arabic mathematician Alhazen and his contributions to perspective. Riveting.
I found this the other day in my pile of random stuff I picked up who knows where (I have a few of these kinds of piles in my basement):
“Advisory on Releasing Organisms
…as a general policy, we do not advocate the release of organisms into the environment. In most states, it is illegal to release organisms, even indigenous species, without a permit.
Extra Organisms
Every precaution was taken with your organisms during handling and packing to assure healthy living specimens. As live organisms are difficult to ship, extra specimens may have been added to this order to compensate for any that might be lost in transit.”
